A Virginia teacher, Abigail Zwerner, has filed a $40 million dollar lawsuit against her local school district after she was intentionally shot by a 6-year old student in her classroom. She claims her school’s administration knew the  child had a history of violence and was believed to be carrying a gun that day but did nothing extra to protect her or disarm the child.
